Gustavo Alva


Gustavo Alva is an expert in Computer Systems Development with a Master in Management of Technology. He created the first mail list for the group “Mexicanos en TU Delft” on 2007 and led the group during their first 3 years. He left the lead of the group and reduced his collaboration when he left the Netherlands, to pursue his professional goals in Mexico. This group later evolved to become the current Student Association. He has work as project manager in world class projects like the longest sewage tunnel in the world, and the fifth largest water treatment plant in the world.  He currently leads a software development team that was recently awarded with the Red Hat Innovation Award 2014 for Application Development and the highest prize of the Red Hat Summit 2014: The 2014 Red Hat Innovator of the Year Award

Omar Jimenez

He is driven to create impact in society and to improve people’s lives with high tech products that have business viability.

He studied MSc in Embedded Systems in TUDelft. His experience running and participating in the association was one of the most rewarding experiences during his stay in Delft.

Adonis is a PhD candidate at the Optics Research Group in TU Delft. He is specialized in laser spetroscopy for gas analysis, specifically for the study of human breath.

He is a founder of Mexicanos en TUDelft and has been an activity organizer since the beggining. Together with Hugo Cruz he was the DJ of many Mexican events.

Antonio Jarquin

General Coordinator Board 4

Antonio Jarquin Laguna is a PhD candidate at the Offshore Engineering Section of the TU Delft. His research involves the analysis of alternative solutions for energy transmission in offshore wind farms, with a focus on fluid power applications. Previously he worked as an engine dynamics engineer for General Electric GEIQ Aviation, and also performed drivetrain analysis and storage opportunities for tidal energy devices at Bluewater Energy Services. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a master in sustainable energy technology.

He is a founder of Mexicanos en TUDelft and has been an active member since the beggining.
