Adonis is a PhD candidate at the Optics Research Group in TU Delft. He is specialized in laser spetroscopy for gas analysis, specifically for the study of human breath.
He is a founder of Mexicanos en TUDelft and has been an activity organizer since the beggining. Together with Hugo Cruz he was the DJ of many Mexican events.
Antonio Jarquin Laguna is a PhD candidate at the Offshore Engineering Section of the TU Delft. His research involves the analysis of alternative solutions for energy transmission in offshore wind farms, with a focus on fluid power applications. Previously he worked as an engine dynamics engineer for General Electric GEIQ Aviation, and also performed drivetrain analysis and storage opportunities for tidal energy devices at Bluewater Energy Services. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a master in sustainable energy technology.
He is a founder of Mexicanos en TUDelft and has been an active member since the beggining.
Tania is a PhD student at the Institute of Biology in Leiden University and Bionanoscience department in TUDelft. She is doing a multidisciplinary PhD about the development of the insects using molecular biology, genetics and tools from Physics as optical tweezers.
She mainly organizes cultural events in Mexicanos en TUDelft but also also she helps to the general coordinators in the preparation of different projects.
Andrés is a second year MSc student of Telecommunications at the faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. He is interested in mobile networks with prime focus on radio access technologies. After graduating from UAM-A as an Electronics Engineer in Mexico he worked for Mexicana de Aviación and Ericsson. At Delft he spends most of his free time training and playing football and enjoying a few drinks with friends every now and then.
Mario is a first year MSc Electrical Engineering [Signal and System] at TU Delft. He is interested in compressing sensing and statistical analysis for Big Data. He has been working as Software Developer for Behavioural Sciences and as Research Assistant in Biometrics Technologies and Artificial Intelligence. He is passionate about three things beside his research: food, books and voyages. Most of his free time is advocated to these activities and his friends. Even if is raining!
Diego studies MSc Design for Interaction with specialization in Medesign. His graduation project focuses on preventing burnout of people working for an engineering corporation. He aims to enhance the self-management skills of the target group by raising their awareness of the link between mind and body.
